We believe that we accurately describe the products in our online store and that the photos of our individual pieces of jewellery, accessories, apparel and leather goods display the colour with a reasonable degree of accuracy. However, the colour that you see on your computer screen depends on a number of factors including the colour quality and settings of the computer screen that you are using. Also, our stones and pearls may reflect different colours depending on the light.
Please note that a lot of our sterling silver is hand made and therefore you should expect variations that are inherent in jewellery that is not mass produced. We believe that such variations enhance the natural beauty of our sterling silver jewellery.
Postage and Delivery
We use Australia Post or Sendle to deliver your purchases. We charge a flat rate of $10.00 for postage anywhere within Australia. Customers who spend $150 or more in one transaction can enjoy free shipping, except during “free shipping” special offer time!
Please note that due to COVID-19 impact Australia Post has announced significant delays on their standard domestic parcel processing. Due to reduction in air freight capacity, a significant increase in parcels and health & safety measures at all facilities customers should expect significant delays in standard post delivery.
Domestic deliveries should be processed in 1-3 business days. For standard domestic delivery we would suggest to expect your online order to arrive within 1 week since your order.
Express Post deliveries had their next day guarantee suspended by Australia Post and are being treated as the fastest delivery by Australia Post. We would suggest to expect 1-3 business days processing since your order.
Where possible we will do our best to personally deliver your parcel, if you live locally within 5kms radius from our store.
We offer a flat rate of AUD$25.00 per order for all international deliveries and utilise Australia Post (registered post service). It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any import duty or sales tax within your own country.
We aim to dispatch your purchases within 3-7 business days of receipt of payment. If for any reason we cannot supply your order we will advise you within 2 working days of receipt of your order.
- If you wish to cancel your order:
- you can notify us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org before we have dispatched the goods to you; or
- where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 4 below
- For online purchases …You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Items must be returned by Registered Post and the cost of returning goods to us shall be borne by you. Returned items must be in the original condition, including packaging and tags. For in store purchases we can only offer you exchange or credit note.
- For online purchases…Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required.
- The rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances: –
- In the event that the product has been used.
- To any products that we have made or customised specifically for you
- Returns and exchanges can not be accepted on sale items so please choose carefully.
Warranty – Fashion Jewellery
All Essjai Fashion Jewellery* is covered by a 1 month warranty, from date of delivery, against manufacturer’s defects. Discoloration in gold or rhodium plating is not covered under this warranty as in most cases it is caused by acidity in the skin or incorrect handling and care of the jewellery – please review our “Care for your jewellery” instructions. In special circumstances, items will be reviewed and upon inspection by our staff, returns may be considered. Normal wear & tear is not covered under this warranty & any repair costs will include a postage return charge.
*Fashion Jewellery refers to jewellery which is not manufactured from 925 Sterling Silver

All Essjai Accessories 925 Sterling Silver jewellery is covered by a 6 month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturer’s defects. Discoloration in gold or rhodium plating is not covered under this warranty as in most cases it is caused by acidity in the skin or incorrect handling and care of the jewellery – please review our “Care for your jewellery” instructions. Normal wear & tear is not covered under this warranty & any repair costs will include a postage return charge.

All Essjai Accessories leather goods is covered by a 1 month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturer’s defects. Normal wear & tear is not covered under this warranty & any repair costs will include a postage return charge.
Warranty – Scarves, Shoes & Apparel
All Essjai Accessories scarves shoes & apparel are covered by a 1 month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturer’s defects and where washing instructions have been followed. Normal wear & tear is not covered under this warranty & any repair costs will include a postage return charge.
If you find a fault…
Essjai Accessories prides itself on its high standard of quality control. Each piece is carefully inspected prior to despatch. However, should something pass by our eagle eyes(!), please contact us by emailing email@example.com. We will happily exchange the item if we still have it, refund your money or repair it if the item is no longer in stock. Essjai Accessories will bear the cost of return postage of faulty goods.

Warranty for Wholesale customers
DAMAGES/SHORT/LOST GOODS: Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. Contact Essjai at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of receipt of damaged, missing or defective shipments. Please keep all packaging materials. Once received, damaged or defective merchandise will be reviewed. Returned merchandise will not be accepted if it is held for more than 15 days after receipt. A return authorization number (RA#) will be required for any return.
RETURNS / EXCHANGES: If you are not completely satisfied with the jewelry in your order for any reason, please contact us within three business days of receiving your order by phone or to email@example.com. You will be able to exchange for items of equal value, or pay the difference of upgrading to something of a higher value. You will need a return authorization number (RA#). All custom orders are not returnable.
Please pack jewelry in a well-padded envelope or package.Returned items must be new, unworn, and undamaged to be eligible for exchange.
Essjai reserves the right to refuse items that are returned without prior notice, in a condition unacceptable for resale or without an RA #. All shipping, tracking and insurance charges for returns and exchanges are the retailer’s responsibility and cannot be refunded.
